How much is a Snorlax card worth?
Ungraded, Snorlax cards run from under $1 to $750 on PriceCharting. Across the 54 priced Snorlax cards on this page (a 1st Edition or Shadowless printing counts as its own card), the middle one is about $15 ungraded; 8 are $100 or more and 15 are under $5. The dearest is Rocket's Snorlax ex, Team Rocket Returns #104 at about $750 ungraded and $31,890 in a PSA 10.Prices from PriceCharting, pulled 8 September to 16 October 2026.
Counting cards that name it first, there are 51 English Snorlax cards, spread over 41 sets between 1999 and 2026. The first was Snorlax in Jungle, 16 June 1999, drawn by Ken Sugimori in the very first English sets. 5 of them come from 1999–2000, and those trade in a different world from everything printed since — which is why one number for “Snorlax” means nothing until you know which of the 51 you are holding.

Condition decides most of it. The figures above are for ungraded cards. The same card graded is a different market entirely — the dearest Snorlax here reaches $81,047 in a PSA 10 slab. A PSA 10 is a flawless grade and it is the exception, not what to expect of a card that has been in a binder — on this page a PSA 10 is a median 32 times the same card ungraded. Every card below shows both ends, raw and graded, so you can see which band yours could sit in.
What we pay is a different number again. These are what collectors pay each other. A buyer pays less than that, because a buyer takes on the waiting, the fees and the risk — which is why you get our number on the phone, in one call, before anything is posted.
Spaced by ratio, not by dollars, so the cheap end stays readable. Tap a handle to jump to that card. Prices from PriceCharting, pulled 8 September to 16 October 2026.

51 English Snorlax cards, oldest first.
The set name and the number at the bottom of the card are what tell one Snorlax from the other 50 — there are 3 different cards called “Snorlax” in SWSH Black Star Promos alone. Each one shows both ends — what it trades for ungraded, and what it reaches in a PSA 10 slab. Tap a card for the grades in between and what to read down the phone. The 3 Snorlax cards from 1st Edition era sets list each printing on its own row — 1st Edition, Shadowless where Base Set had one, and Unlimited — and the picture on those tiles is the 1st Edition. Not counted here: Snorlax is also named on “Eevee & Snorlax-GX” (4 printings), filed with the Eevee page.

What decides the number
Five things about your Snorlax, in order of how much they matter.
- Which printing. Snorlax spans 41 sets, from Jungle in 1999 to Perfect Order in 2026, and the set symbol beside the picture is what tells one from another before anything else about the card is worth discussing.
- First edition. 3 of the 51 come from sets printed in a 1st Edition run, and on a Snorlax of that age the small “1 Edition” stamp left of the art changes the price, often several times over. On PriceCharting the 1st Edition Snorlax from Jungle is about $275 ungraded against $59 for the Unlimited one, 5 times as much.
- Which card type. A Snorlax owner’s card and a Snorlax V are different cards that happen to share a name — Snorlax has been printed as 8 types in all, so the word beside Snorlax at the top decides which of the 51 you own.
- Promo stamps. 8 of the 51 Snorlax cards were promos rather than pack pulls, and a black star, a tournament stamp or a set-launch mark in the corner is what separates one Snorlax promo from another with the same picture.
- The Delta Species one. 1 Snorlax card carries the Delta Species treatment — if the word Delta Species sits before Snorlax on your card, that is the first thing to tell us.
- The commonest rarity among Snorlax cards is Rare — 15 of the 51.
- Ken Sugimori has illustrated Snorlax more than anyone else, 7 times.
- Sword & Shield carries the most Snorlax cards of any single set (5).
- Snorlax has been printed under 8 card types: owner’s card, V, VMAX, ex (2003–07), Delta Species, LV.X, GX, ex (modern).
- 5 of the 51 Snorlax cards come from 1999–2000, the printings collectors ask after most.
- 32 different illustrators have drawn Snorlax.
- 27 years separate the first Snorlax card from the newest.
