Espeon · 29 cards · 2001–2025

How much is a Espeon card worth?

There are 29 English Espeon cards, spread over 20 sets between 2001 and 2025. The first was Espeon in Neo Discovery, 1 June 2001, drawn by Atsuko Nishida in the Neo era. It has carried 7 of the game's card types over the years — V, Tag Team, VMAX, ex — and a collector will pay wildly different money for each.

What we pay is a different number. These are TCGplayer market prices, worked out from recent sales between collectors, read 2026-09-08. What a buyer pays is always less than what a collector pays, and it turns on the condition of the card in your hand — which is why you get our number on the phone, in one call, before anything is posted.

Spaced by ratio, not by dollars, so the cheap end stays readable. Tap a handle to jump to that card. 11 of the 29 have no market price on file.

What decides the number

Five things about your Espeon, in order of how much they matter.

  1. Which printing. Espeon spans 20 sets, from Neo Discovery in 2001 to Prismatic Evolutions in 2025, and the set symbol beside the picture is what tells one from another before anything else about the card is worth discussing.
  2. Which card type. A Espeon V and a Espeon Tag Team are different cards that happen to share a name — Espeon has been printed as 7 types in all, so the word beside Espeon at the top decides which of the 29 you own.
  3. Promo stamps. 4 of the 29 Espeon cards were promos rather than pack pulls, and a black star, a tournament stamp or a set-launch mark in the corner is what turns an otherwise ordinary Espeon into the scarce one.
  4. The Delta Species ones. 1 Espeon card carries the Delta Species treatment, printed deliberately short — if the word Delta Species sits before Espeon on your card, that is the first thing to tell us.
  5. Centering. Hold your Espeon at arm’s length and look at the border: a Espeon with a visibly fatter margin on one side is capped on grade before condition is even discussed, and the Evolving Skies printings are the ones we see off-centre most often.
  • Most Espeon cards are Rare — 7 of the 29.
  • 5ban Graphics has illustrated Espeon more than anyone else, 5 times.
  • Evolving Skies carries the most Espeon cards of any single set (4).
  • Espeon has been printed under 7 card types: V, Tag Team, VMAX, ex (modern), Dark, ex (2003–07).
  • No Espeon card was printed at all for 4 years, 2013 to 2017.
  • 16 different illustrators have drawn Espeon.
  • 24 years separate the first Espeon card from the newest.
