Jolteon · 34 cards · 1999–2025

How much is a Jolteon card worth?

There are 34 English Jolteon cards, spread over 25 sets between 1999 and 2025. The first was Jolteon in Jungle, 16 June 1999, drawn by Kagemaru Himeno in the very first English sets. 3 of them come from 1999–2000, and those trade in a different world from everything printed since — which is why one number for “Jolteon” means nothing until you know which of the 34 you are holding.

What we pay is a different number. These are TCGplayer market prices, worked out from recent sales between collectors, read 2026-09-08. What a buyer pays is always less than what a collector pays, and it turns on the condition of the card in your hand — which is why you get our number on the phone, in one call, before anything is posted.

Spaced by ratio, not by dollars, so the cheap end stays readable. Tap a handle to jump to that card. 10 of the 34 have no market price on file.

What decides the number

Five things about your Jolteon, in order of how much they matter.

  1. Which printing. Jolteon spans 25 sets, from Jungle in 1999 to Prismatic Evolutions in 2025, and the set symbol beside the picture is what tells one from another before anything else about the card is worth discussing.
  2. First edition and shadowless. 3 of the 34 date from 1999–2000, and on a Jolteon of that age the small “1 Edition” stamp left of the art, or a frame throwing no drop shadow down the right of the picture, is worth more than everything else on this list put together.
  3. Which card type. A Jolteon V and a Jolteon VMAX are different cards that happen to share a name — Jolteon has been printed as 7 types in all, so the word beside Jolteon at the top decides which of the 34 you own.
  4. Promo stamps. 5 of the 34 Jolteon cards were promos rather than pack pulls, and a black star, a tournament stamp or a set-launch mark in the corner is what turns an otherwise ordinary Jolteon into the scarce one.
  5. The Delta Species ones. 1 Jolteon card carries the Delta Species treatment, printed deliberately short — if the word Delta Species sits before Jolteon on your card, that is the first thing to tell us.
  • Most Jolteon cards are Rare — 9 of the 34.
  • 5ban Graphics has illustrated Jolteon more than anyone else, 4 times.
  • SWSH Black Star Promos carries the most Jolteon cards of any single set (4).
  • Jolteon has been printed under 7 card types: V, VMAX, ex (modern), Dark, Light, Delta Species.
  • No Jolteon card was printed at all for 4 years, 2015 to 2019.
  • 3 of the 34 Jolteon cards come from 1999–2000, the printings collectors ask after most.
  • 21 different illustrators have drawn Jolteon.
  • 26 years separate the first Jolteon card from the newest.
